Campanile;

Visiting Florence.. you will find some of the most beautiful churches
Walking through the
streets of the city will
be able to discover or rediscover the most beautiful
churches ranging from Gothic to
Renaissance, the roman-gothic, in whose inside you can admire

Church
of Santa Maria in Fiore Florence Cathedral
The church was built over the remains of the church of
Santa Reparata,
is the third largest church in the world after St. Peter's in Rome and St. Paul's in London, and was dedicated in 1412 in Santa Maria del Fiore, perhaps
alluding to the Florentine lily symbol of Florence. The stained glass windows, Florentine art of the early Renaissance,
were created by Donatello, Ghiberti, Paolo Uccello and Andrea Del Castagno;
the interior retains the Politic of
Santa Reparata (Giotto
and his pupils), the Equestrian Monument
to Sir John Hawkwood (Paolo
Uccello), and the marvelous dome with the Last Judgment (Giorgio Vasari and Federico Zuccari). The stupendous Cupola of Brunelleschi and Giotto's bell tower are open to visitors to
admire the beautiful panorama of Florence;
in front of the cathedral is the
Baptistery with the Gates of Paradise. On Easter Sunday you repeat the classic explosion of the cart and the flight of the dove tradition
of Florence.
Church of San Lorenzo
It’s the oldest church in Florence at the behest of the Medici family who frequented as a parish of
family, in 1419 made it broaden by Brunelleschi making it
a masterpiece as one sees now.
In the interior,
among other things, we can see the two bronze pulpits of works by Donatello, depicting scenes from the life of Christ
and the Resurrection and the Martyrdom
of St. Lawrence (1569). The Medici Chapels form part of the church complex and it was Cardinal Giulio de Medici, the future Pope Clement VII, to want to
remember the great Medici family. The chapels are divided into three distinct parts: the crypt, the
chapel and the sacristy of the
principles, the statues above the sarcophagi are wonderful as
the Allegories of Time, the Sunset and Sunrise, Night and Day and the
group with the Virgin Mary with
Jesus in her lap.
Church of the Holy Spirit
The church is considered to be one of the main monuments of Florence, was designed by Brunelleschi and on the inside there
numerous works of art such as the Pietà (1549) by Giovanni di Baccio Bigio, the altarpiece depicting the expulsion of the
merchants from the Temple (1572), the Madonna and Child Enthroned with Saints Thomas and Peter, a nativity scene of the school of Ghirlandaio. Also worth seeing the Sacristy little gem of the Renaissance period in which he lived for
a short
period, Michelangelo following the death of his father. In this path can be admired squares where there are the churches and other places where you can reach important of Florence, to admire it in a suggestive way you must go to Piazzale Michelangelo, Belvedere, whose vision goes from Holy Cross to riversides, the bridges of Florence in sequence, in practice from here you the whole city, at sunset and in the evening the scenario is unique as it is only the city itself.

By visiting Rome ...you will find some of the Fountains more or less known
Rome is the city of large and small fountains, beautiful, imaginative and almost always the work of great sculptors and architects. These
fountains have a long history, which begins with the early Roman aqueducts and continues through the centuries, with fountains, Renaissance, Baroque, and Neoclassical those of the nineteenth
century up to modern ones. Here are some: Fountain of the artists, Margutta, the project architect Pietro Lombardi and it was
manufactured in 1927 is a set of symbols of the artists. From the original
triangular base they get up two easels shelves on which rest two masks, other one is sad, cheerful, wanting to emphasize the alternating
fortunes of the artists. Fountain of the Four Rivers in Piazza Navona. To give a worthy accommodation in Piazza Navona, the obelisk to the obelisk coming from the Circus of Maxentius and designed by Bernini, the Pope Innocent X Pamphili authorized the work of the fountain and the work inaugurated June 12, 1651. Around the monolith were laid four statues of white marble five meters high that
represent rivers. The first was by Claude Poussin is dedicated to the Ganges symbolizes Asia; Nile for Africa is by Giacomo Antonio Fancelli, its head covered because up till then
unknown the headwaters; Antonio Raggi has sculpted the Danube for Europe and finally the Rio de la Plata, a symbol of America, by Francesco Baratta. Fountain of the Acqua
Marcia, in Via Nomentana, the municipality in the early of the twentieth century, he place the reference fontanile of the Acqua Marcia, placing at the center of the basin bordered by a cornice placed to crown of the wall which is leaning against the fountain, its emblem decorated with a swag in the tradition of nobility. Fountain of the Acqua Paola, for the
Romans the Gianicolo Fountain, was sought by Paul V Borghese (1605-1621). The
monumental fountain has three wide niches, flanked by two smaller niches, from each of which water gushes. In 1690, Alexander VIII, designed by Carlo Fontana, replaced the five shells at the base of the mouths of water with the great basin. The the Barcaccia in Piazza di Spagna, was commissioned by Pope Urban VII to Pietro Bernini, is decorated within two "sun mouths" barberiniane water out in a fanwise and are located the outside the two arms of Urban VIII. Fontana della Botte, in Trastevere, the barrel, placed vertically on a base, it is the typical
"cart", formerly used to transport the wine of the Castelli Romani, the water is collected in a half basin below. At the sides of the cask you will find two measures of wine, from which flows water that collects on the ground in special basins. Fountain of the
goddess Roma, in the Capitol, was designed by Michelangelo in the years around 1536 not as a fountain, but as a superb ornament of the square. In the
central niche of the steps Michelangelo foresaw the insertion of a colossal statue of Minerva (now in the courtyard of the Capitoline Museum), was then replaced by current statue, more modest size, the goddess Roma triumphans. At the sides of the large niche, Michelangelo he inserted two huge statues depicting the river Nile and the Tigris, originally adorned the baths of Constantine, on the Quirinal Hill.
The Romans wanted to transform the Tigers in the Tiber
and therefore changed the tiger into
a wolf and placed it beside Romulus and Remus. A new fountain of the goddess Roma is located in Piazza del Popolo to the Pincio and was
designed by Valadier in 1823. Moses' Fountain, Piazza San Bernardo,
or Fountain of
the Acqua Felice in honor of Pope
Sixtus V. Was realized
between 1585 and
1587 by order of Pope
Sixtus V, by the architect
Giovanni Fontana to supply water to
the neighborhoods on the hills Viminal and the
Quirinal. Built in travertine with three large niches
divided by four Ionic columns Ionic
symmetrically placed with four Egyptian lions, two white marble and two dark marble. The
statue of Moses is more than four
meters high, in the side niches are the
statues of Aaron and Gideon.

quelli relativi all’impianto termale. Dell’impianto termale
secolo. Continuando poi la passeggiata si scende dal
promontorio fino a un bellissimo percorso di Via Crucis all’interno del bosco;
scrittori e intellettuali, quali Eugenio Montale, Giulio Einaudi, Cesare Pavese

Intorno all'anno Mille la
risulta essere tra i più antichi cibori preromanici intatti di tutta la Toscana;
